WILLIAM W. KIRSCH
Mr. Kirsch, 83, of Nicktown died Tuesday, Nov. 12, 1991, at Miners Hospital, Spangler.
He was born March 27, 1908, in Barr Township, the son of Andrew S. and Amelia M. (Ager) Kirsch, and June 25, 1934, in Spangler, married Ruth Lantzy.
Surviving are his wife, two sons: Dr. William J. of Roaring Spring and Dr. Kerry W. of Ebensburg RD 1, and 11 grandchildren.
Also surviving are five brothers and sisters: Ruth Duman of Latrobe, Alma DeWilliams of Camden, N.J.; Sister Consuella, RSM, of McAuley Hall, Cresson; Merle of Carrolltown and Clair of Lakeland, Fla.
Mr. Kirsch was a member of St. Nicholas' Catholic Church, Nicktown, and its Holy Name Society and Barnesboro Council, Knights of Columbus.
Mr. Kirsch served as a director of the former Barr Township School for 12 years.
He was a Republician committeeman in Cambria County for 40 years.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Stevens Funeral Home, Carrolltown.
KIRSCH--The funeral of William W. Kirsch of Nicktown will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Benedict's Catholic Church, Carrolltown, by the Rev. Daniel Wolfel, OSB. Interment at St. Nicholas' Cemetery, Nicktown. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Stevens Funeral Home Inc., Carrolltown, where a wake service will be held this afternoon. Preceded in death by parents; brothers: Edwin, Walter, Harold, Homer, Alcuin, Herbert, Herman and Marlin, and sisters: Demetra Dumm, Esther Dumm and Aline Duman. In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contributions be made to Northern Cambria Catholic School, Nicktown, Pa. 15762.
